The Journey Show - (Feb 2009 to present)

The Journey Show is a radio show hosted by Spoonface (FAADA) and is broadcast live on Playvybz.com on the 1st Saturday of every month. The show itself usually features a guest and lots of diverse music from predominantly unsigned artists. LJA Productions is responsible for filming and editing highlights of the show which are put up to youtube to accompany and help promote the podcast of the show.

Highoops @ Hula Hoops Hoop-a-thon (March 2010)

This shoot involved filming Highoops (led by Charlene ‘Lady Hoola’ Davies) at the Hula Hoops Hula Hoop-a-thon. There was a successful Guinness World record attempt and we filmed the rehearsals the day before, along with filming interviews with the main people involved and filmed singer Rankin.S live performance on the day of the Hoop-a-thon. The footage was made into a short highlights edit and a 60 second music video for online distribution. The whole project was a joint project between LJA Productions and FAADA.

Jo’leon Davenue @ YoYo’s (April 2010)

This shoot involved filming recording artist Jo’leon Davenue’s performance at YoYo’s (Notting Hill Arts Club) on April 1st 2010. The performance featured Jo’leon & a live band and the footage was cut into individual songs, all for upload onto Youtube.

Funky explosion Album Launch - (April 2009)

This shoot included musical performances and interviews with performers on the night for the launch of the Funky Explosion funky house Compilation album. LJA Productions was responsible for the filming and editing of highlights from the event and also the editing of the advert which was used to promote the album on youtube.

Spoonface – Circus World music video (Summer 2008)

In the summer of 2008 LJA Productions, with the help of visual effects artist Hobbyboy, filmed the music video to the song ‘Circus World’ by Spoonface. The video was shot against a Green Screen background and edited for Youtube & television circulation.

Shooting Sunday chicken documentary (May 2009 -  October 2009)
Sunday chicken is a 1 hour documentary shot for FAADA which aims to explore the question, what does it mean to be black. LJA Productions in partnership with FAADA was responsible for the shooting and editing of the entire documentary which ended up as a mini documentary on Youtube.

Rebel Nature – Never Can Say Goodbye Music Video (October 2009)
This was a music video done for the Rebel Nature record label, specifically for recording artist ‘Maxmillion’. The song was titled ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ and was a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. Iluvlive UK (July 2009, Dec 2009 & Jan 2010)

This shoot included musical performances and interviews with performers on the night for one of the July 2009 iluvlive events with a cut of highlights from the event and each artist had 1 song from their set edited and uploaded onto Youtube. In the December 2009 & January 2010 1 song from each artist was cut and uploaded to Youtube, and from all 3 events a highlights edit of the Open Mic sessions was cut and put onto Youtube. LJA Productions was responsible for the filming and editing of highlights from the event. Also from this event some of the artists who performed on the night have asked for footage of their performances.

LJA Productions and Serelisation TV bring you interviews & highlights of events from around London with highlights going onto Youtube. Hosted by Serena ‘Sere’ Francis, we have filmed at places such as Dancers Delight 2009, on location at a H-Boogie performance, outside the Carling Academy in Brixton with Speech Debelle and Behind the Scenes at the N-Dubz music video shoot for the single ‘Playing with fire’.

Straight Shootin’ LJA @ The Anti-BNP Protest (Nov 2009)

This video was a spur of the moment project and was the brainchild of Gavin ‘G-man’ Henry. Shot on the night that BNP Leader Nick Griffin was to be involved in a debate on the BBC’S Question Time program, we wanted to see who was protesting and why. We interviewed people and got their reactions to Mr Griffin being on Question Time.

Female Beatmakers Live 2009 (Aug 2009)

This shoot included musical performances as part of a charity event for the Female Beatmakers forum. The event was held to raise money and awareness for a medical condition/illness called Lupus. LJA Productions was responsible for the filming all the performer’s sets at the event and editing of a highlights package from the event along with each song from every artist cut individually to be put onto Youtube to promote the Female Beatmakers forum.
